This pianoforte piece was my first attempt at writing music 'realtime'. I sat at the digital piano and composed it straight off, mistakes and all, and saved it to disc as a midi file. The editing took months, on and off, but this method reassured me that I had a start, a middle and a finish, which is so important. How many pieces have never been finished because the composer has lost his way?
