Photo 6 - Alfred A'Bear (1860 - 1934). This newspaper article circa 1928 states that Mr A A'Bear belonged to the Old Oxonian Bike and Tricycle Club formed in 1881 and is mounted on a "Boneshaker" built in 1865 which was being exhibited at an Oxford cycle shop. Alfred adds that he rode an exact replica of this machine in 1876 and has ridden ever since, and still rides to fishing.
